Our 3rd Wedding Anniversary

Maggie is doing great still!  We are both so very pleased but cautiously optimistic.  No nausea, no flu-like symptoms, nada.  She’s had a little bit of stomach cramps but other than that she’s just trucking along great!  It’s almost mysterious and a little bit scary but we are not complaining.

What a great weekend we’ve had!  Maggie was feeling great all weekend long!  Friday we went out for a very nice super, just the two of us.  Saturday Maggie actually went shopping by herself, driving around Austin from mall to mall.  :)

Liver Tumors Are Shrinking!

We received some great news today!  At the Spa today we learned that Maggie’s liver has noticeably reduced in size.  This is fantastic news because this means the chemo treatments are working!

The Final Final Exam (from Last Q)

Maggie is taking her last final from the previous quarter right now.  It’s long – 3 hours – so she’ll definitely be ready for a nap come about 5PM.  And it’s hard.  More than one of her friends has told her that no amount of studying will help.

Apparently, Humana has decided that our diagnosis of cancer was suspiciously close to the effective date of our new insurance policy and has launched an audit with regards to our application.
