Minor Side-Effects Kicking In

Maggie is napping. Chris finally got his wish – the chemo seems to be giving her some minor side effects. Nothing too bad, though. Maggie’s just not feeling so hot. She’s definitely not feeling horrible but just not good. Sleep seems to be the best medicine right now.
Last night we dined out with friend Amy and Trey at our new favorite restaurant 3 Forks. It was a delightful evening of good food and good conversation.
We are heading to the Alamo Draft House Village today at 3:30 to catch the movie “Music and Lyrics” (in keeping with the low-key weekend). The movie is a total chick flick but Chris hasn’t come up with a strategic defense for the cancer card so he begrudgingly agreed to the movie. At least Drew Barrymore is in it. Apparently “Ghost Rider” wasn’t on Maggie’s short list of films to see. Nor was “The Number 23”.
