Maggie is spending most of her time studying for her final finals punctuated with a few naps.  She has understandably grown weary of studying and is looking forward to her last final Friday.  And her graduation Saturday will no doubt be an emotional event for all who attend.

The Administration of the Neulasta Shot

Tuesday’s administration of the Neulasta shot went fine, apparently.  The injection was given by Maggie’s capable roommate, Martha, who had once given a dog a shot.  Chris wasn’t there to witness the event so he can’t comment on the hilarity that no doubt ensued.

Another visit to The Spa

Today’s visit with Dr. Loukas went great, despite Chris’ absence.  Dr. Loukas told Maggie that she was responding to treatment on par with the best he’s ever seen.  He gave her a 10 on a 1-10 scale of response.

Week In Waco Just Fine (w/o Chris)

Maggie made it through her week in Waco sans Chris just fine.  Chris did fine, too, although he sure missed Maggie.  Thankfully it was a short week.  Monday is back to the doctor.  This will be Maggie’s first doctor visit without Chris.  He’s got a #$@% dentist appointment

Today’s chemo session went fine, as expected.  It was over quick since she only received her Avastin.  Otherwise this is a Chemo Free Week, happily.  It’s also a short week of school.
