Yesterday we went to see the new Michael Moore flick called “Sicko.” It came out in theaters nation wide yesterday. Wow! What a great show!

Maggie’s still in Waco and is doing fine. She hasn’t mentioned her abdominal pain in a while which continues the mystery. And, as we’ve learned, doctors don’t particularly sit well with mysteries, except in TV shows.

Another week begins…. We’ve been dealing actively with The Cancer now for six months, although six months ago we didn’t actually know it was cancer. Six months ago today we got our first CT scan (after demanding angrily that something be done but that’s a different story…) Crazy, really. Just crazy.

Today has been much better. It’s odd, though, because typically Thursday starts the crash time. It’s when the Neulasta really kicks in and causes the flu-like symptoms. But so far so good.

Maggie crashed after we got back from the store this morning. She started strong, as was noted in the morning update, but she didn’t have much staying power. As a result she slept pretty much all day. She’s just not feeling too hot.

We were at The Spa most of the day today. Maggie’s feeling pretty rotten. She did get both CPT-11 and Avastin so it was a double-kicker.

Maggie is doing fine. She’s in LA this weekend with her friend Amy doing things she enjoys: shopping, eating, shopping. She called home last night to confirm that she’s having fun… like Chris was worried about that.
