Maggie and Martha flew in last night, or rather, early this morning at around 12:30AM after a very long delay in Newark that almost postponed their return to Austin until today (well… later today.) But they are here, happy, and seemingly well adjusted back to Texas time. Continue reading

Traipsing Around Athens
Martha, Katy and Maggie have been wandering around Athens since they arrived. Their hotel is beautiful but the room is pretty small. And things are going great. They’ve sampled Greek wine, eaten gyros and other various Greek-requisite items and are just having a grand ol’ time. Continue reading
Gone To Greece

I pulled my earplugs (which have been our only defense from the racket of the ceaseless hospital goings-on) and Maggie told me she thought her fever was down. Continue reading
Back to the Hospital
This morning we started a little shaky but nothing to write home about. But things got worse unexpectedly fast. Continue reading
Ominous Call from Dr. Loukas
We just got some disturbing news from Dr. Loukas. Maggie’s CEA* has crept up to 3.8. Now, that alone isn’t bad but it’s definitely ominous because of what it might represent – it’s possible that The Cancer has started growing again. Continue reading
