Maggie has headed off for Houston for her MD Anderson visit (yes, without me.) Tomorrow she gets blood tests, Tuesday CT scans and Wednesday morning is her meeting with Dr. Curley, a world-renown surgeon who specializes in liver resections.
We aren’t expecting much from this meeting, sadly, other than confirmation that we are doing all we can do.
Maggie will be staying with her friend Lisa and Nurse Jolie will be headed up Wednesday to join her for the actual doctor’s appointment. It’ll be a crowded room with lots of smart people in it: Lisa - a doctor, Nurse Jolie - a nurse practitioner specializing in oncology, Maggie - a newly minted lawyer, and Dr. Curley. Wow. With that many big brains in one room maybe, just maybe, they can come up with a plan.

And … supported by the prayers, love, and good thoughts from all over the world … no doubt they will come up with that plan! Faith moves mountains as well as kill tumors and rogue cancer cells. Hugs …

I hate to brag, but I had Maggie all to myself Saturday night! We had such a good time, we danced and danced at Rainbow Cattle Company. For those of you not familiar with the Rainbow, it’s a gay bar. Maggie was so comfortable there it didn’t bother her to take her wig off. Just picture her big smile and all that dancing…now carry that feeling in you while she’s at MD A.
