The cancer has spread to her lungs and chest.  Friday we’ll start CPT-11 and Erbitux.

My heart hurts.

    I spoke to Maggie this morning. She says the spot in her lung is small, may be just one lung (not both). She was not happy, but that is to be expected. We will all keep the faith and know that it’s a battle that we’ll win together. The long she survives, the more possible it that the researchers will find the cure!

    Maggie and Chris, I just found out this latest and am SO sorry…I wanted to say something inspirational and witty but I am a little at a loss…I love u guys SO much and this just feels very unfair. :( It could not have happened to more inspiring and deeply strong human beings than your selves. I always thought you were both pretty tough but I never really knew. You guys are badass! You both have shown so much strength, love and inspiration to all of us. I only HOPE I can be even half as charming, deeply loving, witty and strong when faced with such adversity. My HEART hurts for you both…and is inspired at the same time…I hope for the best to the most deserving (of LOVE and LIFE) couple I know.
