Memorial Fund

We have set up a foundation so that if anyone would like to make donations in Maggie’s name they can do so. The donations will be used to give bright young women financial assistance in some way, be it a college scholarship or other appropriately meaningful way.

Donations can be made at any Wells Fargo bank. You will need the following information:

Make the check to: Maggie Weaver Charitable Foundation
Account Number: 2195517517

Please, please make sure you include the account number on the check. Without the account number the donation will never make it to its intended home.

Donations can also be mailed to Wells Fargo but why mail when you can just stop on by your local branch.

Wells Fargo
P.O. Box 3488
Portland, Oregon 97208-3488

Make sure the account number is prominently displayed.
(Thanks for the assist, Just Thought!)

  1. Can you please post a mailing address? There’s not a Wells Fargo anywehere close to where I live.

    Thanks!

  2. Sorry, Chris. I wanted to try and come, but could not get away. We may not have kept in touch over the years, but that’s irrelevant to me. May God fill your vacuum with friends and family on this day, and His peace tomorrow.

  3. We will do this immediately and regularly. Maggie did so much in her life for others, it’s wonderful that we who loved her are able to give back. Great idea, Chris.

  4. Chri, Maggie’s family & friends…….When I have lost people in my life I have this saying, it has helped and it’s so true,
” Don’t cry because it’s over, Smile because it happened!”

  5. … just an idea, and this is what I’m going to do. For those of you that do online bill paying through your bank… you can set up a monthly repeating donation out of your bank to send to this every month (as you would pay a car payment, for example). I’m hoping to increase the monthly amount I’m going to send once I find a job and start working again *grin* Let’s keep this Foundation active!!

  6. Chris – Thank you for your constant updates. I didn’t find out until today and feel so sad for the loss of Maggie. She was a wonderful, bright, sparkling person that wouldn’t take “no” for an answer. The scholarship fund is a fantastic idea and seems to perfectly fit what she would want. Take care and good luck – she will live on in the memories of her friends, family, and all the people you both inspired through this blog.

  7. Chris Thank you so much for your updates and sharing your “story” ALL of them, and all of Maggie’s 🙂

Maggie, a beautiful person and did not have an ugly, hateful bone in her body. You both give us strength to continue to fight for our loved ones and this *&*^%#@# disease. Love you!
